Abstract The Internet of Things is an ecosystem that connects billions smart devices, meters, and sensors. These devices sensors collect share data for use evaluation by organizations in different industry sectors. Humans may the IoT to live work more intelligently gain total control over their lives. Consequently, can be used connect integrate them with new digital technologies customers. On other hand, utility companies electric, gas, water sectors need deliver services efficiently analyze operations a way help optimize performance, detect growing problems real time, initiate fixes avoid unplanned service interruptions. Building actual metering networks costly time-consuming. Therefore, this paper, Smart Utilities Traffic Scheduling Algorithm (SUTSA) proposed. To minimize system complexity, model based on narrowband power line communication, which wired hidden network sends across lines. A simulation performed using OPNET Modeler 14.5 evaluate proposed model. results proved highly scalable achieves full network-bandwidth utilization situations application requirements.
